Costco announced it would start selling its QQ glasses, a cheaper alternative to the $300 glasses it started selling in 2015.
The glasses are cheaper, too, for the company.
Costco said it will sell the glasses for $300 from March 15, with the company saying the glasses are the “next logical step in our consumer eyewear offerings.”
Costco also said it is working with an undisclosed partner to manufacture and sell the new glasses.
Costcos glasses will be available in five sizes, ranging from $150 to $1,400, with a $100 price tag.
The company also plans to start selling the glasses in select cities in the U.S. and Europe in the second quarter.
CostCo said the glasses, which are the equivalent of a $300 pair of glasses, will allow consumers to “take full advantage of the new, exciting opportunities that are rapidly emerging in the wearables and technology space.”
