In today’s dollars, the Ray Ban sunglasses are worth an estimated $10 million, according to a new report.
The report, which looks at sales from the first five months of Ray Ban’s business, suggests that a similar sales rise would be possible with the glasses.
The glasses are priced at $9.99 for the 12-grams and $14.99 each for the 60-gram and 90-gram versions.
The Ray-Ban glasses have been the focus of much debate over the past year, with critics claiming the glasses are too big for people who are 6’2″ or taller.
They’ve also been criticised for making the wearer look like they’re in a movie, even though it was clearly a film shot in real time.
The new report, however, says the glasses were selling well during the first half of the year.
It suggests that the glasses may be worth more now that they are being sold in more countries, and are expected to be even more popular when they’re back on shelves in July.
The retailer has not commented on the report.
